Jacob Gamel is the proud owner and operator of Austin’s newest private therapeutic massage studio, Knead Massage Austin.
He’s provided massage for the city of Austin for over 8 years, catering to clients needing a break from everyday life such as educators, performers, doctors, lawyers, city and government officials, etc. as well as worked with special cases including plantar fasciitis, scoliosis, sciatica, whiplash, and spinal fusions.
In October of 2018, Glen Taylor of Rub Massage Austin, invited Jacob to help “make Rub Massage Austin the go to private studio for therapeutic and sport massage in ATX”. He encouraged and inspired Jacob to expand and start his own solo practice, eventually resulting in Knead Massage Austin.
As of June 2021, Jacob has asked fellow LMT, Patrick Travis, to be featured by Knead Massage Austin. Patrick is a newer therapist with a great future in massage therapy.

Hands down the best massage I’ve ever had!
Let me just say, Jacob works wonders! I have been to countless massages over the years and they all pale in comparison. I know I have high expectations, but Jacob exceeded these expectations! When I arrived, I was in a lot of pain and so incredibly tense. After the massage, I left feeling relieved and hopeful. I cannot thank Jacob enough! I have already rebooked and will continue.
